Teaching

Elizabeth Street Medical Centre is an Accredited Medical Student Teaching Practice. Since early 2012 we have had the opportunity to host Griffith University Medical Students, Years 2 and 4, for their General Practice placements. Since 2013 we have had the privilege to host Student Doctors for their Selective Elective Placement - “Advanced Management of Diabetes in Primary Care”. In 2015 we also hosted students for Advanced Management of Women’s Health in Primary Care.

Please let reception know if you do not wish for medical students to sit in on your consultation with the Doctor – no one will be offended.
